The general interpretation of a disaster event includes flood, fire, earthquake etc. but should also include loss of key resources (people and other assets), suppliers, customers and credibility.  We conduct an analysis of your organisation to identify potential risks to ongoing business activities in the event of any form of unexpected disaster event.  Our unique Business Impact Analysis approach is not scenario-based.  It provides the foundation for a Recovery Strategy Definition statement which, in turn, is used to develop a comprehensive Crises Management Plan and/or Information Technology Recovery Plan.  We can also audit existing plans to ensure your Plans are kept up-to-date.

  • Prepare documented instructions to recover or replace the lost elements;
  • Identify and train selected staff who will be responsible for maintaining their designated sections of the Business Continuity Plan to ensure its continued currency;
  • Identify and train selected employees in executing the relevant and appropriate parts of the Business Continuity Plan;  and
  • Prepare and conduct tests, involving all of part of your staff, to ensure that the recovery procedures meet the objectives set and remain current as time goes by.
